I am Ahmed Nurul Hasan Sakkhor, a practicing Architect/Urban Planner, an M.Sc. graduate in Sustainable Urban Planning from Blekinge Institute of Technology (BTH), Sweden & B.Arch. graduate in Architecture from the University of Asia Pacific (UAP), Bangladesh with full membership of IAB (MIAB-S-223).

I have conducted my M.Sc. research on the urban living conditions of a developing country. I put my interest in improving the current living condition of a city in a developing country like Dhaka, Bangladesh in my research study. I have earned a great experience while I was busy with research on the living conditions of a developing country, and I found many scoops of making the city sustainable with proper planning work on an urban scale. Along with a master’s degree in Spatial Planning with an emphasis on Sustainable Urban Planning and a bachelor’s degree in Architecture, I am comfortable with all kinds of architecture or urban- regional planning works because of my huge interest in Architecture and the Urban-Regional planning process.

I have worked as Intern Architect at Saif Ul Haque Sthapati till 2016. After then I joined Archiground Ltd as an Associate Architect . In 2018 I joined Bose+Partners as an Architect in Barishal. Then in 2020 I founded my own consultancy office Ahmed Associates in my own home town Barishal & here I work as Chief Consultant. I was involved in near about 40 individual projects from both Bose+Partners & Ahmed Associates in Barishal.

Beside this, I am working as an Executive Editor of a daily newspaper. Photography, Watercolour Painting, poetry are some of my passions. I have  won national award on watercolour painting in 2006. One of my solo photography exhibition was held on 2017. The theme song of UAP Architecture, Krishnokathi 2016 was written by me.
