Design Architect: TOMAL KHANDOKER

"Pick A Bowl" is a compact restaurant project, where my client approached me with the task of repurposing leftover space to initiate a small chain startup. The café's area is quite constrained, comprising nearly 200 square feet indoors, with 75 square feet designated for the kitchen, and an additional outdoor space of approximately 550 square feet.

Navigating through numerous consultations with the client, the challenge emerged of integrating an outdoor seating area seamlessly with the urban street, a feature commonly observed in foreign country lifestyles. Moreover, with the restaurant operating until 2 am, crafting a design that seamlessly transitions into a captivating nightscape posed an additional challenge.

After several brainstorming sessions, a compact restaurant design emphasizing color contrast and aesthetics emerged as the optimal solution. The resultant ambiance, as depicted in the accompanying images, reflects a harmonious blend of functionality and style tailored to the client's vision.
